Surprises

Today's surprises -- social networks and online education. Ok, I had to write a paper for the final class of my graduate certficate in distance education at Northeastern. I picked social network sites and their use in distance education. My mother always said "pick the topic that is a challenge" so I did. I don't really know what Twitter is good for, and I spend way too much time watering imaginary plants on Facebook. Two afternoons of web searching and I'm finding some stuff that is really GOOD!!! Good enough that I may find a way to incorporate some of it into my next round of intro to computers.

starting blogging again

I am going to start blogging again, not sure why but since I am on the computer all the time anyway, I can just say it all here and be done instead of posting to a dozen dog sites, training

sites, obedience sites, knitting sites etc.

Where am I at right now? behind on my book, needing to write a term paper by Sunday, needing to grade my online classes and hoping it stops raining so I can take the dogs out to train
